W2 Filing

Most W2 discrepancies occur because the Social Security Administration compares the employer W2's filed with them against the Form 941's filed with the IRS. If they do not match, the SSA will reach out to you for an explanation. They longer they go without a response, the more likely they will have the IRS enforce penalties and interest.
